About ama
Hiring is one of the most important decisions companies make — and one of the most broken. Companies spend millions on recruiting, yet still rely on expensive intermediaries, fragmented tools, and gut feeling. Roles stay unfilled for months, mis-hires are common, bias creeps in, and hiring mistakes become incredibly costly at scale.
We started ama to change that.
We are building an AI agent for talent that helps companies truly understand whom they need and objectively assess who fits — based on skills, likelihood to respond, and context, not stereotypes. Instead of automating broken processes, we rethink hiring from first principles and bring world-class headhunter quality to every hire, at enterprise scale.
Founded in 2024, ama raised €2M+ in funding and started customer pilots in mid-2025. Since then, we’ve moved from beta pilots into enterprise expansion, closing our first six-figure ACV enterprise deals. Today, we are building for the enterprise market and scaling a product that is already solving real, high-stakes hiring problems for our customers.
Why you will love working here
Work at the forefront of applied AI Help build a real AI agent for talent using LLMs, structured prompting, evaluations, and experimentation
Ship early, ship real You’ll work on early-stage product features that go live with enterprise customers
Learn how AI products are actually built From setting up evals and running tests to structured prompt engineering and workflow design
Work directly with founders Collaborate closely with Pavel (Co-Founder, Product) and the founding team
High ownership, steep learning curve You’ll be trusted with real responsibility and learn faster than in traditional intern roles
What you will do
Engineer AI workflows Design, test, and implement AI-driven product features using structured prompt engineering, Python scripting, and LLM tooling
Prototype new features fast Use low-code platforms (e.g. Lovable), coding agents, and rapid prototyping techniques to validate product ideas quickly
Run experiments & evals Set up evaluations, test different prompts and model behaviors, analyze results, and iteratively improve quality
Work close to users & product decisions Collaborate closely with product and commercial teams, incorporating real customer feedback into product improvements
What makes you a great fit
You care deeply about quality and excellence
Persistence: You understand that building products means failing often, learning fast, and iterating
A lot of creativity and curiosity about how AI can be applied to real-world problems
Strong attention to detail — especially important when working with AI systems
Basic coding experience (Python is a plus) or experience with low-code / prototyping tools
First experience with prompt engineering or working with LLMs
Previous internship experience in consulting, startups, or fast-paced corporate environments is beneficial
